Who Should Read This?

This eBook is for anyone who wants to step up his game when it comes to taking photographs. It may seem difficult or unattainable, but the great news is – taking a good photo is within reach for most anyone, as long as she has the interest and desire.

In fact, if you understand the basic principles of photography and the capabilities/limitations of your camera, great photos can be made anywhere.

That’s why I’ve put together this eBook. If you want to take images for the website design project you have with Artonic, this is a great place to start! Great photos are easy when you follow the basics that are discussed in the eBook.

(If you want to learn more about why good photos are important, check out: Photography: Worth the Investment on our website.)

How to Use the Information

The information in the eBook is simple, straight forward, and easy to use. For each basic principle that is discussed, I’ve included:

  1. How to easily use the rule or tip with your digital camera
  2. Multiple examples of how the rule is used in actual photos

I’ve also covered why it’s important to learn the fundamentals of good photography, and also if and when it’s okay to “break” the rules sometimes.

To get the most use out of the eBook, read through the information and view the examples. Check out the resources listed in the Conclusion to gain an even deeper understanding of the principles.

After reading it through, take your camera out for a session and apply what you’ve learned.
